In particular, Japanese businesses have been subject to severe sanctions by the U.S., EU, and Japanese competition authorities, and are currently in the midst of mitigating antitrust risks. In addition, we have seen shifts in M&A activities and personnel within the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) due to the change from the Obama Administration to the Trump Administration starting in January 2017.
　Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners will be holding a seminar on the subject of 'Current Developments in U.S. Antitrust Laws and Cross-Border M&A.'
