ENERAP Japan, the organization which our colleague, Miriam Rose Ivan L. Pereira is one of the founders, is pleased to announce its next event - "Investor-State Dispute Settlement and Japanese Investors in the Energy Sector" which will take place with limited in-person attendance at the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center and online.
The session, to be held at 5pm on 7 Feb 2023, will cover how investment treaties may be used to protect Japanese overseas investments in the energy sector. ENERAP panel members are delighted that ICSID Counsel Geraldine Fischer will be joining us for this event. As well introducing International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), Ms Fischer and our ENERAP speakers will discuss previous cases involving Japanese investors, trends in the global energy sector and the legal framework which provides protection for Japanese investors.
The event will take place at 5pm on 7 February and there will be a short networking session for those joining in person at the JIDRC.
