2. Some Legal Issues Concerning the Use of Copyrighted Works in the Development and Learning Phases of Generative AI by 手代木 启
This article discusses the relationship between the use of copyrighted works in the development and learning phases of generative AI and the application of Article 30-4 of the Copyright Act of Japan as well as the “override problem” arising from restrictive terms of use and similar agreements.
